The Qatar National Library is set to host an extensive program this month with a variety of events that cater to different interests. From motherhood and childhood to music and literature, the library has got it all covered.

The month's activities will kick off on May 1st with an online event titled 'Mommy to Be Speaker Series: The Secret to your Baby's Sleep.' The event, presented by a group of experts and specialists, will focus on several key topics in the fields of motherhood, childhood, and health. It is an excellent opportunity for expectant mothers to learn more about taking care of their babies and ensuring they get enough sleep. The event will be held from 10:00 - 11:30 AM.

On May 2nd, the library will host an event titled 'Get to know QNL's Assistive Technology Devices and Services.' The online program will highlight and demonstrate the various assistive technology devices and services available at the Library. It is an excellent opportunity for people with disabilities to learn more about the library's services and how they can benefit from them. The event will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.

On May 7th, the library will hold a special creative writing session for adults from 3:30 - 5:00 PM. The event will provide an opportunity for creative writers to come together and share their work, build on ideas, and provide feedback. It is an excellent opportunity for aspiring writers to network and learn from others.

On May 15th, the Library will mark International Day of Families with a special event celebrating all things family. The event will be held from  4:00 - 5:30 PM. Meanwhile, on the same day, the Library will also hold a special seminar on Commemorating the Palestinian Nakba. The seminar seeks to challenge the perspective of the Nakba and emphasizes the ongoing displacement faced by Palestinians since then. It will feature a number of speakers and will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

On May 23rd, the library will host an enchanting musical evening featuring the captivating music of Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. It is an excellent opportunity for music lovers to enjoy an evening of beautiful music in a serene setting.

Towards the end of the month, the Library will host a series of lectures on May 25th highlighting the importance of reading for a child. The lectures will cover various topics in the field of childhood, education, and children's health. The event will be held for adults from 4:00 - 5:30 PM.
