The State of Qatar participated in the opening ceremony of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-level Meeting on Global Artificial Intelligence Governance, held in Shanghai, China.

The prestigious event was inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, alongside representatives from over forty countries and international organizations, reflecting the global significance of the conference.

Representing Qatar at the event was Consul General in Shanghai, His Excellency Rashid bin Mubarak Al Khater, who led the Qatari delegation. The participation underscores Qatar’s commitment to international cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and its governance.

The conference serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration among global stakeholders, aiming to shape the future of AI through shared expertise and strategic partnerships.
