The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has announced the availability of more than 3,000 tuition-free school placements for eligible Qatari students as part of its social responsibility initiative in collaboration with selected private schools.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the ministry said the seats are provided at a cost equivalent to the approved educational voucher. Participating schools will cover any additional fees beyond the voucher amount, ensuring that qualifying families can access private education without incurring extra expenses.
The initiative is aimed at supporting Qatari households whose net monthly income does not exceed QR35,000. The ministry clarified that net income is calculated after deducting fixed financial commitments, in line with established regulations.
MOEHE highlighted that the programme reflects its ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with the private education sector and broaden access to diverse and high-quality learning opportunities. The initiative is also intended to ease the financial burden on families while meeting students’ educational needs.
Applications for the available seats can be submitted through the “Maarif” platform, according to the terms and conditions set by the ministry.
