The Behavioral Healthcare Center (Daam), affiliated with Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has partnered with the Qatar Scientific Club to introduce a new training initiative titled “Shaping the Future of Innovation.” This program is designed for youth aged 14 to 19 and aims to foster behavioral well-being while equipping participants with future-ready skills, particularly in artificial intelligence.
The initiative reflects Daam’s commitment to empowering young individuals to engage with emerging technologies in ways that support community-focused causes. Through a blend of technical instruction and behavioral education, the program encourages participants to create digital awareness campaigns using AI tools, resulting in impactful visual and interactive content.
Participants took part in a series of hands-on workshops led by experts in AI and digital design. These sessions covered the development of digital platforms and presentations, teaching youth how to effectively use modern technologies to craft meaningful awareness messages.
Jawaher Abu Alfain, Director of Community Awareness at Daam, emphasized that the program embodies the center’s dedication to nurturing creativity and self-expression among youth. She noted that it provides a space for young people to address behavioral challenges through innovative technological solutions, contributing to positive societal transformation.
Daam views the “Shaping the Future of Innovation” initiative as a significant step forward in merging digital transformation with behavioral awareness. It forms part of a broader strategy to cultivate a digitally savvy generation capable of using technology to drive sustainable social impact.
