Visit Qatar has unveiled its latest promotional initiative, Winter in Qatar 2026, aimed at attracting visitors from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to experience the country’s vibrant winter offerings. The campaign highlights Qatar’s diverse attractions, from desert excursions and cultural landmarks to luxurious getaways and family-friendly entertainment.
Building on the momentum of the previous Moments Made For You campaign, which showcased personalized summer experiences, this new edition continues to emphasize Qatar’s ability to craft memorable moments tailored to every type of traveler.
The campaign’s first promotional video, released today, features Kuwaiti theatre actor and digital storyteller Khaled Abdullah Al Mouzaffar. Known for his engaging and energetic content, Al Mouzaffar embarks on an adventure with friends, exploring the dunes of Sealine and the electrifying atmosphere of UFC Fight Night. The video captures the spirit of exploration and highlights Qatar’s unique blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and world-class entertainment.
In the coming weeks, two additional videos will be launched, each presenting fresh experiences and showcasing Qatar’s appeal to a wide range of travelers. These will include regional content creators Farah and Aqeel, known for their warm, family-oriented storytelling often featuring their son Adam, as well as Lebanese entrepreneur and fashion influencer Karen Wazen, whose family-focused content resonates with audiences across the Middle East.
The campaign takes viewers on a visual journey through Qatar’s most iconic destinations, including the dramatic landscapes of Ras Abrouq, the tranquility of Zulal Wellness Resort, and the elegance of Place Vendôme. It also highlights the charm of Msheireb Downtown, the bustling Souq Waqif, and the cultural ambiance of Katara’s Amphitheatre. Culinary experiences are also featured, culminating in the Qatar International Food Festival, alongside popular spots such as Mina District and Angry Birds World at Doha Festival City.
Qatar’s accessibility remains a key advantage for GCC travelers. With short flight times from neighboring cities and visa-free entry using national ID cards, visitors enjoy streamlined procedures at Hamad International Airport. For those traveling by road, the Abu Samra land border offers a convenient entry point.
Combining tradition with modernity, Qatar continues to position itself as a premier winter destination for travelers across the region.
