The Ministry of Municipality has announced the launch of the 13th edition of Qatar’s International Agricultural Exhibition, AgriteQ 2026, to be held under the generous patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
The five-day exhibition will run from February 12 to 16, 2026, at Katara Cultural Village, bringing together a wide range of participants from government bodies, private sector entities, and a distinguished selection of local, regional, and international companies and experts specializing in agriculture.
Spanning an area of more than 40,000 square metres, AgriteQ 2026 continues to strengthen its position as a prominent regional and international platform for agriculture, food production, sustainability, and agricultural innovation. The exhibition also plays a key role in supporting the objectives of Qatar’s food security strategy and the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Commenting on the event, Director of the Department of Agricultural Affairs and Chairman of the Exhibition’s Organizing Committee, Yousef Khalid Al-Khulaifi, said that “AgriteQ 2026” reflects the rapid development witnessed by the agricultural sector in the State of Qatar and embodies the State’s ambitious vision to build an advanced agricultural system based on innovation and sustainability.
He added that the organization of the exhibition coincides with the launch of the third phase of the National Food Security Strategy 2024–2030, which focuses on increasing self-sufficiency and adopting the latest agricultural technologies.
Meanwhile, Faiqa Abdullah Ashkanani, Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Municipality and a member of the exhibition’s organizing committee, confirmed that the Ministry has put in place a comprehensive media strategy to promote AgriteQ 2026. She explained that the plan covers various traditional and digital media platforms at the local, regional, and international levels, with the aim of strengthening the exhibition’s media presence and highlighting its significance and status.
