The Minister of Commerce and Industry, H E Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al‑Thani, conducted a series of field inspections across several retail outlets in Qatar, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor market activity and confirm the availability of essential consumer goods.
During the tour, the Minister reviewed product stock levels in stores and warehouses, where it was affirmed that retailers currently maintain enough essential items, ensuring uninterrupted supply to consumers.
Sheikh Faisal stressed that supply and distribution chains continue to operate smoothly, noting that the Ministry’s specialised teams monitor market trends and inventory levels on a continuous basis. This process is undertaken in close coordination with suppliers and retail operators to support market stability and guarantee that goods remain consistently accessible.
The Minister also expressed appreciation to factories, suppliers, and retail outlets for their cooperation and the significant efforts they have made to ensure ongoing product availability. He highlighted that the Ministry would maintain its inspection campaigns and field visits to safeguard market balance and ensure consumer needs are met under all circumstances.
