Hamad Medical Corporation’s newly launched mobile application, Lbaih, has seen a strong surge in user engagement since its debut on July 20, signalling a growing shift toward digital health solutions in Qatar.
The app provides patients with streamlined access to a range of services, including viewing, rescheduling, or cancelling medical appointments, as well as securely accessing personal health records. According to figures shared by HMC on its official X account, the app has been downloaded by over 101,000 users, with more than 406,000 logins recorded to date.
Among its key features, Lbaih allows users to monitor vital signs, review lab results, and track prescriptions. So far, 7,214 users have utilized the app to manage appointments, while 9,011 have accessed their health data through the platform.
Developed to enhance accessibility and improve the patient experience, Lbaih supports Qatar’s broader healthcare goals under the Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasizes innovation and integration in health services.
HMC has encouraged the public to download the app and benefit from its user-friendly design, which ensures consistent experience across all affiliated hospitals and clinics. Registration is secured through the Qatar National Authentication System, with biometric login options such as fingerprint and facial recognition available for added convenience.
By empowering patients to take a more active role in managing their health, Lbaih represents a significant step forward in Qatar’s digital healthcare transformation.
