Over 45 events to celebrate Arab heritage and unity during the tournament. Katara has announced an extensive lineup of cultural, artistic, and heritage activities to accompany the 2025 Arab Cup, which will run from December 1 to 18.
The programme includes more than 45 diverse events across Katara’s venues, creating a vibrant atmosphere that showcases the cultural richness of participating nations and welcomes thousands of visitors expected during the tournament. Katara stated that the initiative reflects its mission to foster intercultural dialogue, highlight Arab identity, and offer an immersive experience blending art and sport.
Art Exhibitions and Daily Activities
The festivities will begin with a series of exhibitions, including:
Qatari Fine Art Exhibition (Building 19)
Arab Cup Stamp Exhibition (Building 22)
History of the Oud Exhibition (Building 6)
Colours of Qatari Hospitality (Building 47)
From December 1 to 18, the Katara Corniche will host daily activities from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring competitions, artistic performances, folk dances, and theatrical shows from various Arab countries.
Music and Performing Arts
Musical performances will be a major highlight, with appearances by:
Al-Jahra Folk Arts Troupe
Kuwait’s Nasser Bu Awad Troupe
Folk-dance groups from five Arab nations
Traditional Qatari Ardha
Omani artist Mariam Al-Munji will perform at Al-Hikma Square from December 4 to 8, while the Algerian Orchestra will take the stage on December 18. Visitors can also enjoy a spectacular military musical display (Tattoo) along the Corniche. Additionally, Katara will host the Arab Opera Festival at the Opera House from December 8 to 10, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Interactive Spaces and Special Events
Wisdom Square will broadcast live matches, while Creativity Square will feature Language of the Letter Dhad activities on December 17 to mark World Arabic Language Day. Interactive art workshops and children’s drawing competitions inspired by participating nations’ cultures will also be part of the programme.
The Drama Theatre will present the play King of the Stage from December 16 to 20, and the Outdoor Theatre will host puppet shows and storytelling sessions.
Katara emphasized that the programme caters to all age groups and nationalities, reinforcing its role as a global cultural hub that combines artistic excellence, heritage, and innovation.
