The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) and the “Aman” Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center have entered into a collaborative agreement aimed at strengthening community partnerships and enhancing support for at-risk women and children experiencing violence and family disintegration. Dr. Samya Ahmad Al Abdullah, PHCC’s Executive Director of Operations, and Fadel Mohammed Al Kaabi, the Acting Executive Director of Aman Center, signed the agreement at PHCC’s central headquarters.
This agreement focuses on facilitating access for beneficiaries to PHCC’s preventative and treatment-based healthcare services, while simultaneously bolstering Aman Center’s programs for protection, rehabilitation, and reintegration into the community. It also includes the exchange of expertise and information, as well as the joint development of awareness campaigns to educate the public on violence prevention and the promotion of family unity. These goals will be achieved through a sustainable framework intended to elevate the quality of support and services and the creation of an integrated safety net for beneficiaries through workshops, seminars, and shared training opportunities.
Implementation of the agreement's activities is expected to begin next month, with the first coordination meeting scheduled to develop the operational and promotional plans for the joint programs, with the overarching goal of improving the physical and mental health of the target populations.
